Nearly 600 firefighters working BWCA wildfire

300 more fire fighters and several more vehicles  have been brought in to help fight the wildfire in northern minnasota. This help has increased the control over the fire from 11% to 19%. Also forcasted rain is expected to help the firefighters further control the fire. This is relieving news to me because it means that the fire is staying away from the residential areas and is continuously getting smaller. The fire was started by a lightning strike on August 18 and what expected to be a mall blaze slowly grew into a roaring forest fire.
